Cleveland Clinic is one of the largest and most respected hospital systems in the country, renowned for its thought leadership and innovation in healthcare delivery. An enterprise implementation of Tableau puts the power of analysis into the hands of multiple audiences, allowing leaders to more quickly visualize and understand their data and be increasingly flexible in their analyses. As a result, time-to-value decreases over legacy BI platforms. This presentation will explore the five strategic pillars of Cleveland Clinic’s healthcare strategy: Patients First, Caregivers, Affordability of Care, Growth and Impact, and how healthcare analytics help support the key objectives and enable implementation across the enterprise with key performance indicators (KPIs). Together, we will examine use cases in support of business unit improvements, enterprise strategic initiatives, and to abet C-suite decision making. Understand the various audiences developing and consuming dashboards incorporating EMR data from EPIC and numerous secondary sources. Explore use cases in Emergency Services’ partnership with BI, the strategic initiative of Care Paths, discharge procedures using EPIC tools to reduce readmissions as well as Physician and balanced Executive Scorecards.
