In this tutorial I would like to show you how to make an accordion flip card without the need for a special die, just using dies from your stash. There was a Sizzix die for this type of card, which gave me the idea to make such cards but using only materials from my stash. This gives me much more freedom and flexibility in designing the card, for example in terms of shape and size. Note: I have arbitrarily used the terms „flip element“, „swing element“, and „swinging element“ for the movable middle section because I couldn't quite decide on a term. So the question to the native speakers: What would you call it? The video consists of a technique part and a cardmaking part. Below you'll find timestamps for each section of this video so you can jump straight to the topic you're interested in. 0:00 min - Intro 0:50 min - Technique part 0:50 min - Options for frame and flip element 3:03 min - Influence of the size ratio of card to flip element on the opening angle of the card 5:44 min - Joints (between frame and flip element) 12:57 min - Completing the Accordion Flip Card (creation of hinges for connecting individual frame parts and hinges for the flip elements) 23:24 min - Cardmaking part Here are the links to the mentioned spreadsheet Numbers file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Rgvc...
