But I’m sure you’ll agree their impact has paled in comparison to that of their predecessors. And new music superstars seem to be thin on the ground these days. Why is music struggling to compete against computer games and social media? Why have Gen-Zers lost interest in music? Has the album been eclipsed by the playlist?
