The Bassbreaker from Fender is a hot new amplifier capable of scorching lead tones to fat, boutique rhythm chunkiness and everything in-between. Powered by two 12AX7 preamp tubes and a EL84 power tube for a hefty 7 watts of pure valve power, which projects incredibly well and is perfect for small gigs (and larger gigs if mic’d) and recording sessions. The Bassbreakers tonal character is more on the crunchy end of the sonic spectrum and combined with the amps inbuilt treble booster can deliver some truly dynamic and lush overdriven sounds. Add into the equation a darker tweed finish and re-imagined Fender Block Logo and you have an amplifier for the ages.
