Can you beat Kraid with just Power Bombs in Metroid Dread?

Ever wondered what would happen if you could make it to Kraid with Power Bombs, but not regular bombs? Would you be able to do the special quick kill? Does the game even know how to handle it? If you just want the answer to the clickbait question, skip to 16:04. But if you're interested in HOW to even do that, the rest of the video shows the route taken and the various glitches used to pull it off. Normally, Kraid despawns after either the X is released or ZDR is unfrozen when Experiment Z-57 is killed. To test this requires getting power bombs without visiting Elun or taking the elevator after gravity suit. The route I took is very similar to the current Any% unrestricted speedrun route, as that route also skips Quiet Robe, Plasma Beam, and Wave Beam and goes straight to Power Bombs after Screw Attack. The main difference is I also skipped Bombs, which makes the routing and certain segments (*cough* screw attack) a bit more challenging.
