I finally got the Icebreaker catalyst and leveled up enough to get to activity cap in Master Nightfalls. So that is perfect time to take Icebreaker into higher difficulty content and see how it performs. And it is actually insanely powerful. Its ammo economy is incredible, you create ammo by scoring kills with other weapons and by shooting at slowed and frozen combatants. That practically results in infinite ammo. To make everything consistently slowed and frozen I am using Bleak Watchers with Rime-Coat Raiment, and in my opinion that is one of the strongest exotics in the game now for solo nightfall content. Shattering crystals is doing absurd amounts of damage. Lastly, to pick up all that special ammo from afar I have a kinetic scout with Shoot to Loot perk (Hung Jury). Sadly, scouts are a bit weak but I needed to have something to deal with Barrier champions, and it worked well enough, especially since we have barrier champions only in the first 5 minutes of this nightfall, and you can spam Icebreaker for the majority of the run anyhow. Lastly, I have an Arc LMG to match activity surge and quickly mow down enemies when required in the boss room. Build can be seen at the start of the video.
