We enjoyed traditional food during this journey from Lachung to Gangtok. This took us about 8 hours because we took lot of halts in between. Normally one can do this journey in 5 hours. Scenic view is too good you will see lot of waterfalls on the way. Since we stopped at all the waterfall when we were travelling from Gangtok to lachen so we didn’t take half for waterfall in this journey. Appreciate the hospitality and their effort to cook traditional food for us. Corn Fry - ₹ 100 Momos - ₹ 50 for 4 pcs Address - Tingchim Zero, North Sikkim, Opp. IInd Last Petrol Pump of North Sikkim 2. Sonam canteen : This dhaba we saw on the road side and requested them to cook the below food for us.. Bamboo shoot sabzi - ₹100 Sinki Soup - ₹50 Farsi ko munta ₹50 Address - Rakdong village..25 km from tingchim on way to gangtok… 3. Allen’s Kitchen: Reached Mg marg in the night and had dinner at this place. It was a awesome end to the day, with wide variety of veg and non veg food. Sadeko Aloo - ₹120 Chicken Sikuti - ₹250 Karchi Marchi - ₹150 Address - Walk downstairs from Hotel Bayul, M.G Marg, Gangtok Google Map Location - https://goo.gl/hXuKwe We did night stay at Summit Namnang courtyard and spa: This is about 15 minutes walking distance from MG marg. Good service and nice house keeping. Tariff Rs 2970 during off season and during season time its Rs 4150… Tariff includes breakfast.
