Valve train assembly and distributor shaft timing today plus quick walk through on some tips related to the Crankshaft and Piston assembly. I follow Richard Michael Owen, especially "My Junk E-Type Engine", and he and his Dad had some great tips on ensuring you have end caps the right way round which I highly recommend. I followed the process in the manual for the valve timing chain assembly and turning the engine upside down is the way to go. The crankshaft supports the weight of the freeing up both hands. Loads of huffing, puffing and chuntering today. Apologies for sounding like 'Ivor the Engine' but the bolts were tad difficult to get lined up. I got there in the end and its all looks amazing.
