Use headphones if possible for full sound quality It's been a minute since I've posted a video because of some changes currently happening in my life, but I was really excited to demonstrate this wonderful snare for everybody. This is Tama’s new Ronald Buner Jr.'s Signature Hybrid Snare - 14 inches by 5.5 inches deep. The inside layer is Walnut, and the outside is Steel, giving the drum a unique blend of warm crack and bright resonance, as hopefully seen in the video. One thing to note that can't be observed by watching a playthrough or sound demo is how a drum feels to play, and this snare feels incredible. The hoops are heavy duty and durable, giving a crazy solid feel around the rim at all tensions and tunings, and allowing the rimshots to project that ideal "cracking wood" tone/feel/sound that is hard to find. In general the snare is extremely well crafted, beautiful, and durable, which is one of the many reasons why I have found myself gravitating to Tama more often as a company overall.
