Changing the Guard in London on the 3rd November 2024. An overcast day but relatively quiet, as far as Guard Changes go, not as crowded as usual Not going to complain though. Not the usual full content as I was busy filming the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run as well. This video contains the Band of the Coldstream Guards marching up to St. James's Palace. Queen's Gurkha Engineers (New Guard) marching on to Wellington Barracks parade ground to be inspected prior to the Guard Change, have wanted to film them with their Kukri's out, finally got the footage today, although nearly missed the Band of The Coldstream Guards marching down to Buckingham Palace with number 12 Company Irish Guards (Old Guard). Band and Bugles of The Rifles leading the New Guard to Buckingham Palace. Band of The Coldstream Guards leading the Old Guard back to Wellington Barracks.
