i swapped out all my mistlands gear, including food, potions, and armor, to provide a level of equipment that should be available at yagluth. some say that meteors can be avoided by standing right in yagluth's face, but i have mixed results doing that, so i tend to just avoid them normally if possible. despite being a giant skeleton, yagluth has flat resist against both slash and blunt, at least according to the wiki. while he takes spirit damage, spirit DOTs dont stack, so i just went with the combo DPS of the blackmetal sword. unlike the queen, yagluth doesnt constantly knock you back, so lots of opportunity to face-tank him for the very long block-enabled secondary combo. yagluth is expensive to summon, so, hope you enjoy. summary of how to perform a block-enabled combo: 1. primary attack. optional: hold block. 2. tap block (or continue to hold) as primary 1 finishes. as soon as character returns to neutral block stance, perform another primary. 3. if you timed it right, you will begin the combo, which is signaled by an attack which replaces the normal primary 2. different weapons have different signal attacks to show the combo has begun. some are cosmetic only (sword and mace spinning backhand), some are functional (knife double attack). 4. as soon as you perform the signal attack, press and hold primary or both primary and secondary and the game will finish the rest of the combo automatically. combos vary by weapon type.
