Black Screen and fans 100% full speed issue fixed - nvidia 2080ti

More details can be found below in the description. Issue history and detailed description: Main points causing the issue: 1- Power delivery: I saw soo many cases of how the video card was not getting sufficient power from the power supply, ill just list all of them here so you can check if any of this cases may fit to you, remember everything will depend much on your setup: (- losse or damage cable from PSU or Grapichs card end - losse, damage or wrong cable (slimmer than it should) used to connect PSU to the wall socket outlet - connecting PSU to a power extension loaded with more devices - PSU with lower wattage than what the system actually requires - Damaged PSU and last but not least - Damaged graphics card power socket (bad soldering on pcb?) etc etc ) 2- Temps: For the temps is very simple, usually the card has never been opened and it has dry thermal compound making the temps higher than what they should. - Some cards might even need some thermal pads for the vrm and memory - A more obvious situation would be if the fans are damaged, not working correctly or not spinning at all. So to fix the issue you might want to try and check that all cables are correctly connected or if you have the ability to try your card on another pc with a power supply with enough wattage and also good quality one, from my experience temps are not soo much to blame here however the power and temps are tight up together in all this. If you check everything and you get try your card on another pc or even just another power supply but the problem persists then it is very likely that your card is damaged and you might want to check RMA. In my case i have a 2080 ti msi lightning Z and intel 9900k, i use air cooler, i have few fans and really nothing fancy and i was using a 750w power supply with 80+ gold rating, it should be enough for my system. So the first thing i tried was changing the thermal paste, it worked well for a week e.e.... well at least i had better temps but the problem came back anyways, then that's when i went deep into research and figured out that everything was pointing to the power delivery, I made an experiment: all my crashes would always happen 15 to 30 minutes after playing with unlocked fps even tho i already had removed any OC from the CPU and the GPU, i was using default settings, stock clocks. I just tried lowering the power limit to 50 with MSI afterburner, I also manually adjusted the fans to spin as low as possible while loading the GPU to 99%, temps went very higher but.... no crash no black screen no fans to 100% just like magic, the problem went away lol, also one thing that worked was doing the opposite, placing power limit back to 100 but fans also to 100 and i wouldnt have any crash. But i was losing performance or getting my fans broken.... So i decided to get a new PSU (overkill one xD) i got a 1200 watts 80+ Titanium rating PSU from be quiet. My PC has never been working soo smooth. i got my cpu overclocked to 5ghz all cores and my GPU power limit is all the way up to the max, it comes pre-OC so i don't move the core or memory clock slider. It seems like in my case i was running low on wattage as the previous power supply just had an average 80+ gold rating and the components inside degraded with time (its just my guess, im not electrician xD). PD: English is not my 1st language sorry for any typo and I just fixed the issue yesterday, soo ill edit and update after a week of close inspection if neccesary. Any whoo, I hope my experience may help you to find a way to fix the issue too. UPDATE 27/5/2022: After a month the issue came back so my graphics card is just damaged and out of warranty. I could try to put it in the oven and try my luck or take it to a repair shop but at this point ill just wait for the 4000 series. it is still running fine at 50 power limit tho, when i get a new one ill try to have it inspected by a technician to find the exact source of the issue within the card itself and update my findings here. UPDATE 9/6/2022: I took the card out for maintenance, i took the dust out and noticed that the power sockets in the video card were very close to the heatsink, therefore I decided to slide a thin card board in between the power socket and the heatsink, im not sure how that changed the airflow on the heatsink however after doing this my temps are way lower like less than 60-69c max (power limit maxed) vs 73c (power limit 60) on full load and im able to use my graphics card with 108 power limit or even overclock no problem and no more crashes, i was very exceptical to believe magically the card was just working again out of the blue soo i let a stress test overnight 100% load, power limit 108 base clock, pulling 280 - 300watts overnight more than 8 hours, NO CRASH!!! it is FIXED!!.
