Bill and Barton Ramsey met back in 2016 and had an immediate connection around retrievers, waterfowl, and life in general. So much so, that Barton sent his personal dog Maggie to hunt with Bill for two seasons at Five Oaks in Stuttgart. As Maggie aged, Bill was in search of another gun dog. That’s where Bee comes in. Being short in stature and a tad bit “pudgy” it’s easy to look at Bee and not expect to see what comes to mind when you think of a seasoned retriever.
