In a first reaction after joining the NDA alliance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) president Chirag Paswan said that there had been no deal on ministries with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that getting a ministerial post is not his priority and that he is happy with the honour given by the Bharatiya Janata Party. In an exclusive interview with India Today, Chirag Paswan laid claim to his father, the late Ram Vilas Paswan’s, bastion. He said his party would fight from Hajipur.
