Helicopters, rafts, and motorboats are being used for rescue operations. Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, faced severe flooding, with residents struggling in chest-deep water. The city experienced its highest rainfall since 1970, receiving over 240mm in 24 hours. According to police, over 200 incidents of floods and landslides have been reported, with rivers overflowing and roads blocked.
