This means adding a chenille module to your digitizing software. The chenille module is available for any tier of Chroma; you just need to contact Ricoma to access it. To activate the chenille module, click “Help,” “Activation,” “Product,” “Chenille” and insert the serial number that was provided to you. Then restart Chroma. When digitizing these designs, the inside will use chenille and the outside will use regular satin stitches from embroidery. To start, go to the Chenille Fill tool, click on the machine wand and select the color you want to fill the interior areas with. Then switch to Complex Fill and change the color to do the outline. Next, use the Selecting tool to convert the complex fill to a satin stitch. Then, make some changes to the density and the push and pull compensation. After that, choose whether you want a Lattice or Spiro fill type. That’s all it takes to digitize a combo chenille and embroidery design! You can repeat these steps for other designs. The MCC-061501 is a combo machine that has one head for embroidery and one head for chenille. The head has 15 needles, a sequel and boring device. The chenille head has an 8” x 6” display panel and uses one needle to bring up thread from the bottom of the machine. It’s similar to a regular embroidery machine, but with more features for chenille. You’ll also need to transfer the design onto the machine by inserting the USB. Next, import the color sequence and set up the embroidery. Then, hoop a sheet of cutaway stabilizer and start up the machine.
