It was a little dry so we had to mix it with quite a bit of tomato ketchup! We also had watermelen juice, which was refreshing and tasted good, a bit sweet but that was ok. Rs 240 total. Edakkal Caves, Nenmeni, Kerala 673595 It was Monday, the Edakkal Caves were closed! Wayanad Heritage Museum, Ambalavayal, Kerala 673593 Writer with Stylus and Book, Hunter with a Country Catapult, 1400s, Suicide, 1300s I really enjoyed this museum because it has some unique features. In many other small town museums in India, they have mostly carvings from temples. This one has stone carvings of 'writer with styles and book' and even a 'suicide'. The info is interesting too, like noting some 'Hero Stones' commierate even people who caught cattle theives! They also have displays of 15 types of soil in Wayanad, which I haven't seen much before. Karapuzha Dam Adventure Park & Garden Karapuzha Dam, Kerala 673593 Located on the Karapuzha River (a tributary of the Kabini River), it is one of the biggest earth dams in India, meant for irrigation. It was started in 1977, opened in 2004 and still under construction today!
