HOW TO REPLACE REAR DRUM BRAKES ON A 2006-2011 HONDA CIVIC

In this video we are replacing the rear driver side drum brakes on a 2007 Honda Civic LX Sedan model. This pertains to the 8th Generation Honda Civic from 2006-2011 model years that have rear drum brakes. This is our first time replacing rear drum brakes on this Honda Civic. If you haven’t replaced your rear drum brakes for awhile it will be quite a challenge as we struggled trying to remove the rear driver side brake drum. Once removed, we replaced the brake shoes as well as the failed wheel cylinder. The rear wheel cylinder was the root of the problem due to one of the seals failed leaking brake fluid. Since we replaced all the necessary parts, the brakes are now working fine and we are glad to share with you our experience with this video!!
