Ranveer Singh pens a heartfelt note for legendary singer-composer Bappi Lahiri

Disco King of Bollywood, Bappi Lahiri, left for his heavenly abode on Tuesday night due to Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The tragic news left all his fans, music lovers, and the entire entertainment and music industry shocked and heartbroken. Many are taking to their social media handles and penning heartfelt tributes for the late singer and recalling the happy memories about our very own Bappi Da. Recently, actor Ranveer Singh, a big fan of Bappi Lahiri, also took to his Instagram handle and shared an emotional post for the late legendary singer. In one of the pictures, Ranveer is seen grooving as Bappi Lahiri crooned his song. Another picture shows both the artists in their trendy avatar. He also shared a post that shows both Bappi Lahiri and Ranveer Singh making a powerful entry on the stage of an award function. Ranveer also penned a heartfelt note which reads, 'Thank you for the music. Thank you for the memories. There never has been & never will be anyone like you #BappiDa lives forever.' Yesterday also, the actor shared a series of black and white pictures of Bappi Lahiri and dropped a broken heart emoji in the caption. Notably, Bappi Lahri was suffering from OSA and recurrent chest infection and was not keeping well for some time now. His health deteriorated on February 15th, and on the same day only, the noted singer breathed his last late at night. The legendary singer was laid to rest at Pawan Hand Crematorium today. He was 69 years of age and is survived by his wife Chitrani Lahiri, and two children - a son, Bappa Lahiri, and a daughter, Rema Lahiri. Recently, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty also mourned Bappi Lahiri’s untimely demise. The actor stated that he will miss the singer-composer as he said, 'Bappi Da! I know your soul will be in heaven.
