Part Two of our two week stint in Japan. Leaving Tokyo, we made for Hakone. We would only be there for a few days before heading off to Osaka. Our intention was to do all the usual touristy "things" (the pirate ship, the ropeway, black eggs), but bad weather forced us to alter our plans. The high point of our stay was probably our accomodation - stunning on every level. Hakone Ginyu: We can't really recommend it enough. Possibly one of the finest hotels we've ever stayed in. Modern, but traditional at the same time.
