Planning for the future

With passenger numbers expected to pass the nine million mark for the first time in 2019, planning approval is being sought to raise the current cap from 10 to 12 million passengers a year. The proposed developed includes new infrastructure, improvements to existing facilities and operational changes to ensure the airport can continue to meet demand for air travel to and from the South West well into the next decade.
