Water along with dissolve substances are absorbed by the plant roots from soil. There are various cell from where water and dissolve substances are passed and reached at root xylem. There are three pathways by which water passed and crossed these cells and finally reached at root xylem. All three pathways are discussed well in this lecture along with diagrammatic representation.
