He had purchased it about 15 years prior from a doctor looking to downsize his collection. Back in 2017, 11k was an INSANE price tag for a 1982 Les Paul when most would be lucky to see half, but it sold quickly and I recently purchased it ~ 6 years later from the gentleman who purchased it from him. After extensive analysis, this is basically a Gibson Standard 82 model, but with BIGGER neck, Grover Tuners, Ink Stamped Serial number and a top in a league of its own.
