Doing RA-4 reversals with rinsed paper using a Polaroid camera

In this video, I detail an RA-4 developer recipe (details below), how I modified the Polaroid camera, how and why I pre-rinse the paper, and demonstrate the RA-4 reversal development process, as well as evaluate the results. Fuji crystal archive colour paper is made to print pictures from negatives, and is balanced for the orange negative mask and incandescent light. Part of the way it's balanced is a bluish dye which is on the paper that can be washed off, reducing the amount of filtration and increasing the ISO of the paper when using as a film medium and reversed to produce a positive. A Polaroid pack film camera was modified into a portrait camera which can then use this rinsed paper to take pictures up to 8 feet away using M3 flashbulbs. Un-rinsed paper, because of the dye and extra filtration necessary, had a maximum camera to subject distance of only 3 feet. Rinsed paper is also very easy to produce prints from slides with minimal filtration (around Y25). My goal is to be able to use a Polaroid pack camera to take pseudo "instant" photos again. Although this process is a little clumsy, I'd like to streamline it and make it easier, perhaps without the need for a changing bag or darkroom. Recipe for RA-4 developer (to make 250ml): CD-3: 1.25g Potassium Carbonate: 10g Triethanolamine: 1.5ml Sodium Sulfite: .25g Sodium Chloride: .13g
