When a Violin fights a Viola.

Hello everyone! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I’m sorry I’ve been away for so long—it feels like ages since my last video. Life hasn’t exactly gone as planned, and I’ve also been struggling with a bit of a motivation slump. But anyway, here’s a new composition that I’m pretty happy with. The fast sections were particularly satisfying to write. I haven’t had the chance to try it out on my viola yet, though I’m a little worried some parts might be tricky to play 😅. Oh, and the title was inspired by that playful rivalry between musicians and violinists (it’s totally the violinists' fault—they think they’re superior! 😂). I might also be a bit jealous because I can’t play Saint-Saëns’ Capriccioso in A minor 😢.
