1955 Cadillac Coupe Deville - Beautifully Restored - 3 Owner - 56K Miles - w/Opportunity -For Sale!

1955 Cadillac Coupe Deville - Beautifully Restored - 3 Owner - 56K Original Mile Car - w/Opportunity! For Sale - $24,500 This 1955 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is in beautiful condition, both inside and out. It has been a three-owner car since new, with only 56k original miles. The previous owner has owned the car for the past 31 years. It features a beautiful paint finish in its original color, gorgeous chrome, and what appears to be a mostly original interior. It's hard to find another one as nice as this. Here is the story and history of this car: The third owner purchased this car in Kansas City, MO, in 1992. He then spent nearly $40,000, from what we were told, at a restoration shop making it like new again. After the car was finished in 1994, it was enjoyed for about a year and then parked in 1995 when the owner had some health issues and stopped driving it. It was stored in the owner's very nice garage and was well maintained. Fast forward to May 2024, we acquired the car from a relative of the owner. We bought it as it sat in the garage where it had been stored since 1995. After getting the car home and preparing to start it, we found out the car has a seized motor due to water in the #5 cylinder. Upon discovering this, we decided to stop as we have too many projects ongoing and chose to clean the car up and sell it as it sits. The car needs the engine to be rebuilt or would make an excellent candidate for a restomod with a new late-model drivetrain. Either way, this car has a lot of potential and would be a relatively easy fix. Here is an amazing opportunity for those who are mechanically inclined or looking to get a great deal on a great car. I was planning on putting this car up for sale for $45k after we got it running and driving as I have sold others in similar condition over the years. If you can have the engine rebuilt yourself at a low cost or have it rebuilt by a shop at a slightly higher cost, either way, you are going to have an extremely nice car. It's hard to find a nice one like this in general, so don’t miss out on this baby! Highlights: 1955 Cadillac Coupe Deville Only 56k Believed to be Original Miles 3-Owner Car Since New Same Owner for 31 Years Stunning Color Combination Beautiful Factory Two-Tone Ruskin Blue & Dresden Blue Mostly Original Lt & Dk Blue Gabardine Cloth Interior Remarkably Well Cared For Throughout Its Entire Life Over $40K Spent Restoring the Car in the Early 1990s Solid Body 331ci V8 Engine An Excellent Example Inside & Out Highly Collectible & Hard to Find Needs an Engine Overhaul Amazing Opportunity Features: 331ci 250hp V8 Engine Automatic Transmission Power Brakes Power Steering Original AM Radio Power Windows Wide White Wall Tires Etc. Current Condition: Beautiful exterior finish in factory Two-Tone Ruskin Blue & Dresden Blue Excellent chrome and brightwork throughout Beautiful, mostly original Lt & Dk Blue Gabardine Cloth Interior The body is super straight with excellent fit and finish Almost completely rust-free, with only a couple of minor spots on the inner rocker (pictured in the ad) Mint dash, gauge cluster, and original steering wheel with one small flaw A truly well-kept car, showing only 56k believed to be original miles The previous owner said he spent around $40K restoring the car to as-new condition in 1994, and it shows (but no receipts to prove it) From what I can see of the restoration: new paint, all new rubbers, redone chrome, new carpet, possibly redid the trunk, maybe the dash (which looks mint original), and possibly rebuilt the drivetrain (possibly what caused the engine issue) All original glass is excellent The trunk has been redone and still retains its correct spare and jack Mechanically, I don’t know much about the car as it is currently not running due to the engine issue My guess is you will need to go through the brakes, fuel system, and replace tires due to age and how long it was sitting The engine either needs to be rebuilt, or you have the option of an updated LS type engine which could really increase the car's value You could not even begin to restore this car for the price we are asking, as all the hard items are done Contact Us: Don't miss this opportunity to own an amazing example of a 1955 Cadillac at a great price. If you have any additional questions, please call Bob at 480-628-4778 or Bobby at 480-226-4018. We can assist with shipping quotes and arrangements. We also welcome all international buyers. The car is located in beautiful, sunny Scottsdale, AZ.
