In this catfish fishing video I am fishing for catfish from a boat trolling cut bait in an attempt to find biting catfish in a lake. The feeding catfish are not normally in deep water when it is hot because the thermocline prevents them from living there. On this trip I was finding catfish in deep water around the old river channel.
