Healthy Apple Crisp Serves 6 Ingredients For the Apples • 6 apples, peeled, seeded and thickly sliced • 1 Tbsp. melted coconut oil • ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon For the Topping • 1 ½ cups rolled oats • ½ cup walnuts, roughly chopped • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon • 3 Tbsp. honey • 2 Tbsp. coconut oil • Yogurt Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 2. Add apples, coconut oil, nutmeg and cinnamon to a bowl and mix until combined. 3. Transfer the apples to a shallow casserole dish. 4. In a separate bowl, mix together oats, walnuts, cinnamon, honey and coconut oil until completely combined. 5. Add the oat mixture to the top of the apples and spread to cover. 6. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until the oats are cooked. 7. Serve with yogurt and more honey, if desired.
