And the bonus? This technique makes them look like a high end designer version! DIY Alterations are not easy, especially when it comes to jeans. There are one million tiny stitches, multiple layers of fabric sewn together, waistbands, pockets, old seams.... not to mention, fresh seams look super out of place. But this technique embraces the new seams and turns them into a design detail! These are my new favorite pair of jeans and I can't wait to find a big pair at the thrift store again because I will 100% be doing this over and over again.
