Meet my new sewing tutorial. Hello! First off, I know this is long, but I am going to try to make "chapters" work so you can find the section you want, because here are soooooo many sections! So, I'm starting with a pattern that has a fitted bodice so of course there are some pattern alterations there because of gravity etc. Also, the usual sleeve widening for thicker arms, as you do... Since I'm using a quality suiting wool, I figured this would be the perfect project to incorporate fusible tailoring which helps with perfect roll lines, back stays and shoulders. And of course, I can't leave that alone so I'm also making bound buttonholes with a special bound buttonhole maker tool which I LOVE! Then there are fitting tweaks, late night mistakes to be corrected and all the rest. In the end, it turned out like beautiful and classic jacket. Thank you so much for watching!
