How to Make a Relaxed Roman Shade

Notes: Add a cord cleat to each window blind for safety. Operating cords must have a default length of 40 percent of the blind height according to Section 4.3.2 of ANSI/WCMA–2018 (previously unlimited). And a warning label must depict more graphically the strangulation hazard associated with cords (5.1). In this video tutorial we will show you how to make your own Relaxed Roman Shade. Relaxed roman shades are functional with its signature curve which gives your window a soft casual look. This relaxed Roman Shade features a smooth front that is tailored to fall into a gentle curve with built-in fullness along the bottom of the shade, resulting in a look that's less structured and more free-flowing. While this relaxed roman shade is designed to be functional, it is primarily decorative, as folds sometime require restyling after raising. A relaxed roman shade may also be layered over a Roller Shades if desired.
