चित्रपट - सोयरीक | Soyrik 1953 Synopsis : Soyrik is a movie about an unmarried couple, Ranjeet and Maya who study in same college. Ranjeet and Maya fall for each other. Ranjeet's father, Abasaheb (Sharad Talwalkar) and Maya's father, Mr. Raut (Neelu Fule) agree to their relation and look forward towards their marriage. But Abasaheb changes his tune and demands for heavy dowry from the bride's father. Mr. Raut refuses to pay the dowry which rouses a clash between both the families. Abasaheb had paid a huge dowry during his daughter's (Sheela) wedding and now wants to use this marriage as payback. Maya and Ranjeet however can't live without each other and decide to run away. What happens then? Does this love story have a happy end and they live happily ever after or does it turn into a tragedy?
