Organised by Rajesh Chandy, Professor of Marketing, Academic Director for the Deloitte Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Tony and Maureen Wheeler Chair in Entrepreneurship at London Business School, Gita Johar (Columbia), Dean Karlan (Yale), the Business Solutions to Poverty Research Consortium is a small, invitation-only group, co-hosted by faculty at London Business School, Columbia Business School, University of Toronto, University of Washington and Cambridge University. Our hope is to inspire and instigate academic-practitioner collaborations that cross disciplinary and industry boundaries, and derive business solutions for specific global challenges. The goal of the consortium is to build knowledge and insight in this critical but challenging area by bringing together the right mix of people and creating the conditions for dialogue and action.
