Yesterday I uploaded a video where I made a smaller version of the "Fancy Feast" type stove. The outer can I used had some jet holes in it from an earlier try for a jet stove that didn't work and I was surprised when the jets did work when used with caqrbon felt. From that video Oldtimer Lee requested, "Would love to see this using a Fancy Feast stove with jets. Been following this particular stove with interest for a church mission project. Emergency kits to give out to community when storms take out the power for days. And to families who lose power due to hardship. Must be EASY for volunteers to build from? readily available & relatively inexpensive materials. Also, open to suggestions if another version of stove would better serve this purpose. Thanks!" So in this video I made a modification to the Fancy Feast Stove where Ive added 15 jets to the outer can. The jets are .05" (1.27 mm) in diameter and are about 3/8" down from the edge. The stove burned fast but then ran out fast too. I am looking forward to testing these stoves in the snow this winter.
