This Unexpected Hunter Build Is The Most Fun I’ve Had In Years

In today's video, I go over an UNKILLABLE and UNEXPECTED Arcstrider/Prismatic Hunter build that is the most fun I've had in Destiny 2 in years. Prismatic: https://dim.gg/xt6cgmi/Gifted-Convict...) Arc: https://dim.gg/chc7i6i/Gifted-Convict...) My Information: Twitter:   / all_the_players   Twitch:   / all_the_players   YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/AllThePlaye... Discord:   / discord   Timestamps: 0:00 - Introduction 0:21 - Gifted Conviction 1:26 - Prismatic Toolkit 3:06 - Arc Toolkit 3:53 - Weapons To Use 5:15 - Why Use This? 6:14 - Gameplay Loop 6:32 - Mods 7:33 - Stat Distribution 7:52 - Outro If you’ve seen some of my more recent videos, you’ll have seen me getting some really quick Solo GM speedruns on Hunter. Some of these include a 16:17 Glassway, which is the 4th quickest Solo GM Glassway ever completed. Today I’m going to showcase the build, and some weapons you can use with it. The core of the build relies around Gifted Conviction. Upon using Ascension (or Tempest Strike), you release 3 tracking arc projectiles that jolt targets. When you apply jolt to targets, you gain a stack of damage resistance for 10 seconds. Where this exotic chest piece becomes super strong, is that there’s a artifact mod this episode called Galvanic Armor, which is where if you’re running an Arc or Prismatic subclass, you gain 30% DR while being amplified, and procing Ascension instantly gives you amplified. Since Ascension is on both Arc and Prismatic, we have two toolkits we can build this into. Prismatic Fragments: Purpose, Hope, Protection, Ruin, and Awakening. Now this loadout is also viable on Arc, and I know a lot of people actually prefer it on Arc, pairing it with Flow State to keep having our Class Ability back allowing us to spam it non-stop. For the Arc loadout, I used the following fragments: Resistance, Shock, Amplitude and Beacons I found that the Arc loadout is a lot nicer to use in less difficult content, or in team GMs where not everything is shooting at you at once that you need the increased DR. Resistance gives us 25% while surrounded, Shock allows our grenades to jolt, amplitude makes rapid kills while we’re amplified drop orbs, and beacons let’s our arc special weapons blind targets while we are amplified. More on this in a moment. Shock could be swapped for Ions, and Beacons could also be swapped depending on what weapons you’re using, BUT if you’re using a certain sidearm, Beacons is EXTREMELY good and you’re trolling if you’re using anything else. This isn’t only good with swords, you can run into an engagement, ascend, and then back away while using a machine gun, SMG, HC, GL, Rocket Sidearm. There’s lots of choices, this one just lets you play more aggressively without repercussions. For those of us who really like to play aggressively even in higher level content, my loadout recommendation is Indebted Kindness and Dragon’s Breath (or even Parasite!) and a primary of your choosing. What’s really nice about this loadout too, is that it’s applicable in all sorts of content, and it leans into a side of Prismatic Hunter you’re probably not used to, since most Prismatic Hunters use Class Items w/ Combination Blow or Threaded Spike. I was using this loadout, with the swords, in the Salvation’s Edge Raid recently, and it is absolutely insane in the 1st, 2nd, and 4th encounters. 2nd encounter you mainly deal damage to the boss with a sword, so I figured why not try this out, and 1st and 4th are heavily ad-clear encounters too. Only reason I didn’t like it in 3rd is that it’s not really good for Tormentors or long-range gameplay, such as fighting the turrets. This has a really easy gameplay loop to master too, all you do is proc ascension, and then shoot enemies until you get your dodge back, then proc ascension again, and repeat. If you’re using Parasite, throw in a Parasite on some beefy targets every once in a while and have fun! On your helmet, I’d suggest siphon mods and if you’re using arc, you can use an ashes to assets. On prismatic, ashes to assets isn’t needed. On your gauntlets, I ran Focusing Strike and Bolstering Detonation so I could sometimes get my class ability back even quicker On your chest piece, use resist mods based on the activity you’re running. On your legs, you’ll want recuperation and better already, as this heals you AND starts health recovery, and then either a scavenger mod or absolution. If you’re using Parasite, the 3rd mod here should be a Solar Holster, as that reloads Parasite and it reloads it relatively quickly too. On your class item, I’d recommend special finisher and proximity ward, as special finisher will allow you to spam special finishers to get Indebted Kindness ammo if you’re using that (or Ergo Sum ammo, or whatever your special wepaon is). If you’re not using a special weapon, you can just run Font of Restoration. #destiny2 #destiny #raid
