Not your typical SUP, this watercraft consists of two inflatable boards held together with crossbars and an aluminum frame. Add in a comfortable padded swivel seat, Scotty Gear Mounts and a motor mount and you have an awesome portable fishing craft. It can be paddled standing or sitting down. With a 2.3 hp Honda motor, you can reach speeds of up to 8 mph and average 30 mpg. Sea Eagle also offers a WaterSnake Venom 34 electric motor that can cruise you around at 4 mph This short video shows us stand up paddling the SUPCat. You can see it in motion without the use of a motor. (Video with motor to come.) We took our two dogs out for a test paddle to see how it handled. It was a little windy on the lake that day and we definitely noticed the tracking wasn't fantastic. However once you get in some good power strokes, it glides well and we had no trouble getting around the lake. For longer distances the motor comes in really handy. Note: My little dog that fell off the tip of the board half way through the video was a-ok!
