FIRST TIME FISHING ON OUR NEW BOAT - Learning How To Fish The Flats What an exciting moment! Our first big fishing day on the "new to us" vessel. As many of you know we are avid offshore and reef fishermen but inshore is definitely not our expertise. We were excited to start our adventure searching for new fishing spots using a combination of our knowledge, reading the water and using the Fishbrain app. It didn’t take long for the skunk to be off the boat and we both had our first catches on the Hewes - mangrove snappers! We were even able to save our catches in the Fishbrain app to share them with you but of course we kept our fishing location a secret 🤫 Hopping from flat to flat we caught plenty of sharks, cudas and snappers.
