UBUNTU DONATES 16 BEDS TO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH KISOO DISTRICT

SUPPORT TO HEALTH FACILITIES IN KISORO DISTRICT; CAO,RDC,LC5 CHAIRPESONAND ANNET DUSABE ECEIVED THEM. Ubuntu-Bafumbira United Association (UBUA) is a voluntary association/CBO established to bring to¬gether all Bafumbira around the globe for a common cause of unity, cultural conservation and greater socio-economic empowerment. The Association hosts an annual ISANGANE festival to celebrate culture, network and give back to community. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for ISANGANE2023 held in Kisoro on 26th December 2023 was to fundraise for the purchase of maternity equipment for Health Centre IIIs in hard-to-reach areas in Kisoro which we were not able to handle last year. Last year we donated hospital equipment to Kisoro Hospital, Buhozi Health Centre III, Iremera Health Centre III, Nteko Health Centre III and Nyarusiza Health Centre III. This year UBUA is donating the following equipment to support the underlisted facilities from the proceeds of ISANGANE2023; No Health Facility Equipment 1. Bunagana Health Centre III Each facility will be provided with 1 Hospital bed without casters, 1 Hospital Mattress, 1 Gynecological Bed with shoulder support, 1 four Screen panel, 1 drip stand and 1 Wheel chair. 2. Busanza Health Centre III 3. Nyamasinda Health Centre III, Nyanamo TC 4. Nyabihuniko Health Centre III 5. Nyagisozi Health Centre III, Rukundo TC 6. Nyakinama Health Centre III 7. Gasovu Health Centre III, Nyabwishenya SC 8. Bukimbiri Health Centre III, Nyundo SC This is to request for your support in the distribution of the aforementioned items to the facilities in liaison with UBUA representative, Mr. Justus Twambaze (0785-620117) and the Association members based in Kisoro.
