FreeCAD Tutorial: How To correctly Use Geometrical Constraints in 2D Sketches - Part I

#freecad #CAD #fem #3ddesign #aleksandarhaber #freecadtutorial It takes a significant amount of time and energy to create these free video tutorials. You Can also press the Thanks YouTube Dollar button In this FreeCAD tutorial, we explain how to correctly use geometrical constraints in 2D sketches. We explain how to use coincident, vertical, horizontal, tangent, symmetry, perpendicular, angle, equality, distance, and other constraints in FreeCAD. Objects are points, lines, circles, rectangles, etc. Geometrical properties of objects: length, radius, angles, etc. Geometrical relationships between objects are tangent, normal, predefined angle, symmetry, etc. Constraints are user specified geometrical properties of objects and geometrical relationship between objects. They are used to precisely define and constrain the 2D geometry. In this tutorial, we explain how to correctly use constraints in 2D sketches. Compared to some other CAD software, in order to properly design a 2D sketch we need to properly set constraints. If you do not set the constraints properly and leave some degrees of freedom undefined, the geometry might change after you perform some operations!
