We had all the creative freedom from the client and after hours of discussion, we landed on Minima by Ordinary Folks. It was a big challenge to maintain such an advanced theme in 2D animation style. This challenge got our creative brains excited and we decided to give it all to achieve these results. We handled the entire project from beginning to end, including script writing, storyboarding, design, animation, music, SFX, and voice over. The main creative challenge was to craft a storyline where we do not directly talk about any of their services and only focus on their brand values. To give better clarity, we created a concept doc which is usually not a part of our process. The client wanted a mix of approaches where we show a character’s journey that transitions into abstract style. Finding a balance between these two approaches was the major creative challenge we faced. It was essential to bring out the right emotions in designs without showing any features of the character’s face. With a silhouette style character, we experimented with its body language to hit those exact emotions we were trying to convey. During animation, very close attention was paid to maintaining the right pace throughout the video and achieving that with two different styles demanded a lot of experimentation.
