Map: South Zagoria Time: 07.10.2008 2200UTC+3(x3) - 9 hours to Zero Hour. Weather: Slightly Cloudy, Full moon. Background Chernarus has recently been invaded by Russian forces. Despite the valiant efforts of the Chernarussian Defence Force, Russian forces have managed to completely take over the entire country. This has forced what surviving CDF members there are, to go underground. We have been getting spotty reports of CDF survivors continuing to fight the Russians using guerilla tactics. In response to the Russian occupation, NATO is sending the 5th fleet of international forces, including the 7AA, to engage and push Russian forces back from their foothold in Chernarus. This is a call to all out war, and both sides are fully equipped and prepared. Mission Objectives 1 Platoon, 1 Section Meet the CDF contingent (Callsign “Cyka”) at Devil’s Castle (069-038) for locations on Russian AA defenses and Artillery positions, plus any other intel the CDF might have. Scout and provide/confirm intel on aforementioned positions, the landing zone for the invasion, and any other locations discovered. This must be reported back to command once recon is complete. Sabotage identified AA and Artillery positions. This must be done without drawing attention to yourselves! Rendezvous with Team 2 and then move to a position where you can cover the invasion force (Landing Zone: 138-036) with fire. Do not allow yourselves to be discovered! 2 Platoon, 1 Section If it is still night time, scout a small airfield near the Eastern coast (120-026). Sabotage all AA and Aircraft at the airfield. Rendezvous with Team 1 to then move to a position where you can cover the landing with fire (Landing Zone: 138-036).
