I started this video about three months ago and worked on it pretty consistently since. It was basically done a few weeks ago, and then yesterday I decided to tear it all apart and redo and add a bunch of things. I'm really happy with the adjustments I made but I'm not sure how to feel about the overall video. It's nothing and everything I've ever wanted at the same time. This is truly a Marauders-focused video (Lily, Marlene, and Mary are honourary Marauders - but I didn't have the room in this video to add in my Mary). I was tempted to add in more of the extended universe, but I felt it was important to keep to the core four. Hence why there's not as much of Severus, Regulus, and even a bit lacking in Marlene. Even Harry is barely in there. I have been working on a bigger extended universe video, I promise. I know these Marauders videos have a circlejerk of information (all we do is inspire each other, huh?), but I find it super utterly important to mention the people who really brought this video to life. Alyssa, of course, who I credit with breathing air into this fandom. Lili and Aleks, for constantly pushing the boundaries of what they can make with Aaron's three scenes. Aminah, for yelling at me until I finish things. And the rest of my wonderful Marauders' squad for always being around and keeping the love alive. Thank you all.
