This is one of those extra special adventures in full-time travel that is worth changing up all your plans to make sure you include it! We were actually planning to leave Dammam and take the train to Hofuf today but cancelled the tickets; hired a rental car; and accepted a very kind invitation to visit a Saudi Arabian camel farm out in the desert. What an adventure! We learnt a lot about farm life and about life in general out of the cities in the desert landscape of Saudi Arabia. Thank you the families who hosted us so warmly and shared their lifestyle and homes with us. We have created memories we will treasure FOREVER! We head next to Al Hofuf and on to Riyadh.
