In this video, the XOR gate and XNOR gates are explained in detail. In this video, two input XOR and XNOR gates, the applications of XOR and XNOR gates, and the XOR and XNOR gates with more than 2-inputs are explained. And at the end, how XOR and XNOR gates can be used as an inverter (as NOT gate) is also explained. It can also be implemented using three basic gates. (AND, OR, and NOT gate). In this video, the implementation of the XOR gate using three basic gates is shown. In general, the output of the n-input XOR gate is high (logic '1'), when an odd number of inputs is high or logic '1'. Typically, more than a 2-input XOR gate is not readily available and it is implemented using multiple 2-input XOR gates. The XNOR gate can also be implemented using the three basic gates. (AND, OR, and NOT gates). In this video, the implementation of the XNOR gate using three basic gates is shown. In general, for the n-input XNOR gate, the output is high (logic '1') when the even number of inputs is high (logic '1'). Similar to the XOR gate, more than 2-input XNOR gates are not readily available. And they are implemented using the 2-input XOR and XNOR gates.
