Belum caves is the second largest and longest cave open to the public in Indian subcontinent known for its stalactite and stalagmite formations.The Belum caves have long passages,galleries,spacious caverns with fresh water and siphons.The cave system reaches its deepest point 46m(151ft) from entrance level at the point known as pataalaganga.In Telugu it’s called Belum guhalu.Belum caves have a length of 3229m(10593 ft) making them the second largest cave in the Indian subcontinent after the krem liat prah caves in Meghalaya .It is one of the centrally protected monuments of national importance . These are underground caves managed and provides lighting and air blowers for tourists . This is the best attracted tourists place in Andhra Pradesh . #Belumcaves #kurnool #indiatourism
