The Farfisa Rhythm Maker 16 is a rare incarnation of the Ace Tone FR1 drum machine (see my video there    • The Ace Tone Rhythm Ace family: FR-1 ...  ). There seems to exist several different incarnation of the FR1, probably they sold the parts to different manufacturer throughout the world (Farfisa, NDK, Nomad, Goya etc) which then assembeld them in their fashion and rebranded it. The farfisa Melodic Rhythmer CER 60 is also the same electronics in a different case. However if PCBs and patterns are exactly the same, the sound is not exactly the same as the Ace Tone (again compare to this video    • The Ace Tone Rhythm Ace family: FR-1 ...  ). I don't have a FR1 at hands right now so I'm not sure exactly what the differences are (different transistors, capacitors and resistance values, inductance etc) but it's not due to aging component since both were fully recapped and calibrated. Recorded through a Teisco Vocal 120 to add some spring reverb.
