The “Wintah” weather has finally left us behind in Downeast Maine, and it’s time to get back to work outside. It’s still too cold for using epoxy resins and most other marine adhesives but it’s perfect for getting a shelter back up over the boat in preparation to resume boat building. I purchased a new shelter this year and have begun to build the structure. Be had a big Nor’easter storm though that devastated a similar but smaller structure by the same company I had purchased at the same time. So….now I’m a bit “gun shy” about putting the cover over this larger shelter and I believe I will have to take extra measures to avoid a similar fate.
