The weather finally breaks and I get the chance to do a winter hike with a full pack. I head down to Redden State Forest to take a 5 mile tromp through the snow, and it doesn't disappoint! The forest was beautiful, although storm damage took its toll. Trails were blocked in many places with downed trees and limbs.
