So far as best direction to sleep scientifically is concerned one should have the head point it is South when sleeping at night and this is the best direction to sleep in India whereas if somebody ask me where should the head direction while sleeping be pointing then again I will tell that South is the first position to put your head while sleeping at night in India and in whole of the northern hemisphere. But if somebody has any problem or the bedroom is made in such a way that he is not able to put his head in South them putting your head while sleeping in West is the good position and head should be in East is also very good position while sleeping at night as per Vastu shastra. Few people ask me sleeping head should be in which direction and I reply first position is South second position is East and West and never try to put your head in North while sleeping at night. Head should be in which direction while sleeping has been replied by Dr. Anand Bhardwaj already but head towards south while sleeping is the first position in only Northern hemisphere. Head position during sleep or in South while sleeping are good but sometimes what happens when the weather is changing and the ceiling fan is fitted in the middle of the room ceiling then many people shift their pillow from one side to Other Side while sleeping. If this is the problem and this is a situation then it shall be better for you to put your head in east or West so that the both positions become comfortable as per Vastu Shastra. We have defined sleeping facing South means head in south and we are looking towards North or we are looking in the direction of north when we are lying on the bed and our head is in the south. Sometimes people ask us when we put our head in West then the sun is in the east and towards my feet which is not good as per mythology but let me clarify that when we are sleeping in the bed then the sun is not in the east …. it is in the west and it shall remain in the West whole of the night. The upper pole of everything in the Northern hemisphere is north pole and when north pole of the body and north pole of the earth they meet each other; there is repulsion not the attraction. Scientifically our body has blood circulation and the pumping is done by the heart and when we are sleepy towards north pointing had then the magnetic flux been going to pull the iron element from our body and IED we feel that the sleep is very much disturbing and we experience the bad dreams whole of the night the spoil the next day.
