Japan Trip 2023- Day 3: Bocchi the Rock Tour! Shimo-Kitazawa

#japantravel #japan #bocchi_the_rock #gcnw #geocaching #bocchi A friend of mine introduced me to an anime called "Bocchi the Rock" that I got hooked on! It's about an introverted girl that learns to play the guitar so she can make friends. She ends up playing guitar so much that she forgets about making friends! During her high school year, she realizes that she needs to get in a band in order to make friends. And thus the show begins with her meeting other musicians and trying to get past her introverted tendencies to build a band and to be able to handle social situations. I can heavily relate to this because I am an ambivert. Luckily for me my introverted tendencies don't pop up often. I can be social, but I do stress out after a bit depending what's going on. For those of you that have hung around me and haven't noticed this... I hide it pretty well. How I would've loved to have seen a show like "Bocchi the Rock" when I was in junior high and high school. I picked up playing bass when I first started watching this show. What a great inspiration. Thanks to my friend Matt for introducing me to this show. A fellow YouTuber by the name of Kinda Neet posted a video showing actual Shimo-Kitazawa locations that "Bocchi" took place in. When I saw these were actual REAL locations, I knew I had to visit them during my Japan trip. And another neat thing is there is a geocache not to far from the live bar Shelter (Starry in the show). So join me as I tour Shimo-Kitazawa and find these actual locations and find a geocache! Thank you, Kinda Neet for the awesome video that introduced these actual locations and the cool map you had on your Patreon page. They were really helpful! Domo arigato gozaimasu!
